Cultivator attachment Makita KR401MP

The Makita KR401MP is a cultivator attachment for Makita couple-shaft (split-shaft) power heads, turning the same motor unit into a light soil cultivator.

It has a working width of about 22 cm and rotating tines that loosen, aerate, and mix topsoil for seedbeds, flower beds, and small plots. It connects to Makita multi-function power heads such as the UX01G, DUX60, and DUX18 using the shared couple-shaft mount, so one power head covers cultivating alongside trimming, pruning, and other tasks. Supplied as an attachment only; the power head and battery are separate.

It suits gardeners preparing beds, working in compost, or breaking up small areas of soil where a full petrol tiller would be too big and heavy.

Turning soil by hand is slow, and a dedicated tiller is bulky to store for small jobs. A cultivator attachment on a power head you already use solves that — light, quiet, and quick for bed-sized work.
