Refund policy

This is a summary of how cancellations and refunds work at koduaed.ee. The full and binding conditions are set out in our Rental Terms, which prevail in case of any difference.

Cancelling a booking

You can cancel a booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the rental period. The full amount paid is refunded to the original payment method within 14 days. Send cancellation requests to info@koduaed.ee.

Late cancellation and no-show

If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, the rental fee may be retained. If you do not pick up the equipment and have not cancelled the booking, this is treated the same way as a late cancellation.

14-day right of withdrawal

Under the Estonian Law of Obligations Act (VõS § 56¹), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to rental contracts where the service has been fully performed or where the agreed rental period falls within 14 days of the booking date.

If your rental period starts later than 14 days from the booking date, you may withdraw from the booking within 14 days of the booking date without giving any reason, by writing to info@koduaed.ee.

Early return

If you return the equipment before the end of the agreed rental period, the unused rental days are not refunded.

Damage

Damage to or loss of the equipment that goes beyond normal wear-and-tear is invoiced separately within 14 days of return. Normal wear-and-tear from correct use is not charged.

If we cancel

If the equipment becomes unexpectedly unavailable due to damage, theft, or force majeure, we will cancel the booking and refund the full amount paid to the original payment method within 14 days.

Add-on goods sold with rentals

Consumable goods and personal protective equipment sold together with a rental can be returned under the 14-day right of withdrawal only if they are unused and in their original sealed packaging. Defective goods are replaced or refunded under the seller's two-year liability period (VõS § 218).
