Terms of service

These are the key terms of the koduaed.ee rental service in brief. The full and binding conditions are set out in our Rental Terms, which prevail in case of any difference.

Who we are

The koduaed.ee online store is operated by Offsite OÜ (registry code 14061956, VAT no EE101883197), Elise tee 1, Papsaare, 88317, Estonia. Contact: info@koduaed.ee, +372 5885 7474.

The service

Koduaed.ee rents out garden equipment. Consumable goods and personal protective equipment can be ordered as add-ons in the same shopping cart. The rental contract is formed between Offsite OÜ (the lessor) and the customer (the lessee) when you submit a booking, pay for it in the online store, and we receive payment confirmation.

Booking and payment

You select the equipment and the rental start and end dates online; the price is calculated automatically by rental days and includes VAT. Payments are processed by Maksekeskus AS (registry code 12268475), a licensed payment service provider acting as the payment intermediary. We do not have access to your banking or card details. The contract enters into force once payment has been received.

Pickup and return

Equipment is handed over and returned at Elise tee 1, Papsaare, during the pickup and return hours published on the contact page. Present your booking confirmation at pickup; the equipment is inspected together at pickup and at return. If the equipment is returned late, an additional rental fee may be charged for each started day of delay at the equipment's daily rate.

Your responsibilities

Use the equipment with due care, follow the manufacturer's instructions, do not pass it to third parties or sub-rent it, and return it clean and in the same condition as at pickup, normal wear-and-tear excepted.

Liability

You are liable for damage to or loss of the equipment that goes beyond normal wear-and-tear; the amount is invoiced within 14 days of return. Damage caused by intentional misuse, gross negligence, or use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions is always charged in full.

Cancellation and withdrawal

You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the rental period starts. The exact rules for late cancellation, refunds, and the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (VõS § 56¹) are set out in our refund policy and the Rental Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. If a dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation, the consumer may contact the Consumer Disputes Committee (tarbijavaidluste komisjon) at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (komisjon.ee). As a final resort, disputes are resolved in Estonian courts.
