The Makita E-07319 is a Ø200 × 800 mm earth auger bit for a compatible earth auger, for drilling larger, deeper holes in soil.
The bit is 200 mm in diameter and 800 mm long, giving a wide, deep hole for planting and post work. It is supplied with a pin.
It suits planting holes for trees and shrubs, fence posts and ground screws, where you need the same hole size again and again. (Fits our Makita DDG460 earth auger.)
Digging by hand leaves uneven holes and drags the work out. The right-diameter bit gives a clean, repeatable hole with less effort — useful in spring and autumn for planting and landscaping.

Warning
- Always hold the tool with both hands and brace yourself — the wide Ø200 mm bit snags on stones and roots even more easily, and the torque wrenches the machine around hard.
- Check the location of underground cables and pipes before drilling — the 800 mm bit reaches depths where power and utility lines run.
- Keep loose clothing, cords and glove cuffs away from the rotating bit — the spiral winds fabric up in an instant and drags your hand with it.
