Tuhaimur Kärcher AD 2

The Kärcher AD 2 is a compact ash vacuum built for emptying fireplaces, stoves, sauna heaters and grills without raising a cloud of dust or touching the ash.

A 1000 W turbine pulls ash through a 1.2 m metal-sheathed hose into a 14-litre flame-resistant steel container. The one-piece filter system combines a flame-resistant flat pleated filter with a coarse metal pre-filter, and Kärcher's ReBoost cleaning restores suction at the press of a button, so the airflow stays strong even as the container fills. The angled hand tube reaches into corners and narrow flue openings, the 4 m cable gives room to move around the hearth, and the Pull & Push lock opens the container for quick, contact-free emptying. The whole unit weighs 4.6 kg and parks the hose against the body for storage.

It suits spring and autumn fireplace cleaning, regular sauna stove maintenance and end-of-season grill cleanup. For safety, vacuum only fully cooled ash.
