Warning
- Hold the saw with both hands and never force the cut — a pinched blade causes kickback, throwing the saw suddenly back toward you.
- Clamp the workpiece down and keep your free hand away from the cut line — a board held by hand can shift and steer your fingers into the blade.
- Let the blade stop completely before setting the saw down and check that the retractable guard closes freely — a saw with a spinning blade will crawl on its own.
