A freshly seeded lawn, a new flowerbed, or a load of delivered topsoil all share the same problem — an uneven surface that no ordinary garden rake will truly flatten. The Costway leveling rake is built for exactly this: a wide 106 × 25 cm steel grading head that you drag across the ground to pull down high spots, fill hollows, and leave a smooth, even finish ready for seed, turf, or planting.

The grading plate is made from 1.8 mm powder-coated steel — noticeably heavier than the thin sheet used on lighter tools — so it stays flat, resists bending, and won’t rust after wet work. The U-shaped head rotates 180°, letting you switch between aggressive leveling and a fine finishing pass without changing your grip. A 170 cm handle with a non-slip PVC grip keeps you upright and saves your back over a long session, and the two-piece rod unscrews so the rake stores flat in a shed or car.

It earns its place on any larger leveling job: spreading and grading delivered topsoil, smoothing a seedbed before sowing, top-dressing an established lawn with sand or compost, or pulling stones and clods off a bed before planting. For a one-off lawn renovation or a single ground-prep project, the right wide rake does in an afternoon what a narrow garden rake fights with all weekend.
