Garden pump Gardena 5600 Silent+

The Gardena 5600 Silent+ is a mains-powered garden pump (900 W) built for quiet running. It draws water from a barrel, well, tank or pond and delivers it for garden watering, water transfer or feeding a pressure washer.

The pump moves up to 5600 litres per hour and reaches a maximum head of 47 metres (4.7 bar), so it copes with longer hose runs and changes in elevation. The motor runs on 230 V and is rated at just 69 dB — noticeably quieter than a standard garden pump. A stainless-steel housing and IPX4 rating suit outdoor use; maximum water temperature is 35 °C.

Use it to water beds and lawns from a rain barrel, empty a flooded cellar or pit, move water between containers, or feed a pressure washer where there's no mains connection. The high flow rate makes it practical for a larger garden, where a watering can or tap pressure isn't enough.

Carrying water by hand or waiting on weak tap pressure wastes a dry summer evening.
